What drew you to your chosen instrument?
My family moved from Ohio to New York when I was ten years old. My best friend from Ohio sent me a letter shortly after we moved to New York and told me that he had just started taking drum lessons. I said, "Okay, I want to go and take lessons, too."
I recently found out that he only did it for about two weeks. He took two lessons and that was that. And here I am, all these years later. Had it not been for him saying that he started taking lessons and he thought it was really cool, I never would have thought to probably go and do it... Life hinges on stranger things.
